This message is going to be short... and sweet. 

In fact, it's NOT a salesletter... not an order form... frankly, it's not a pitch for anything at all.

The only reason I even posted this web page is because lots of people have asked me what happens during a day of consulting down here at my lake-house.  They want to pull back the curtain and discover what's going on behind these secret doors.

And the truth is, if you're a go-getter and you're TRULY looking to make DRAMATIC changes in your business... and in your life, then THAT is exactly what happens.  If you're looking for new pathways to blaze, and trying to figure out how to sever old ones that are going nowhere, then THAT is what happens too. But the OTHER truth is, lots of people talk about "Yes, that's what I want to do," but when push comes to shove, it's like the old Joe Louis quote -- the one where he says "Everybody wants to get to heaven, but nobody wants to die to get there."

Look, the only way to truly "get" dramatic changes is to invest a few dollars, and in this case, travel to see the "King" here in Tampa, Florida (Could be worse -- I could still live in The Bronx, for goodness sakes.). So let's cut to the chase here, because I DID say this would be short.

If you're reading this, then you already know I'm the "Mac Daddy" when it comes to marketing strategy and writing sales copy.  And you're checking this out, simply because you want a little more info on what to expect out of your full day of coaching with me.

Well, I'm going to let you listen to an interview I recently did with a VERY well-known marketer who's been around the block, so you can hear what HE has to say about it, but just to get this out in the open...

"Craig, First off…I want to say thanks for time you devoted to me and my business during our day of coaching. I was totally exhausted when I left and as soon as I got home I started figuring out how I could quickly implement some of the great concepts, ideas and additional products that we had discussed at length.

As I was driving home I was rethinking our conversation and figured out that you took my current business from barley breaking even to making approximately $305,000 on the low end to over $959,400 on the upper end. That’s a huge difference from where I sit today and that was just one of the business we reviewed.

My investment in our day of coaching was worth every penny and more. In fact, when I talked to my accountant on Friday about the changes and ideas he was just as excited as I was. Anyway not to get side tracked…but I was having the exterior of my home painted and when I drove down the street, late Thursday evening, I saw that they had put on the first coat of paint. WOW..what a difference. It took an awful 1970’s dated look to a modern looking beautiful home. I was blown away at the difference. It was no longer the dark brown dated looking home. It now looked fresh, new and inviting.

After spending a day of coaching with you, Craig, I can now see the potential in my business that I had only dreamed about. My business is that dark and dated business and just like my house…with a lot of hard work and some incredibly long hours I can now see what it will take to turn it into a money making machine. When I got home and couldn’t stop thinking about all the great ideas that you helped me validate and see in my business. I didn’t sleep Thursday night and on Friday I had meetings most of the day with my accountant and my business partner. By Saturday…I was wiped out. I took the rest of the weekend off. I decided, I owe it to myself. I can’t remember the last time I actually took the weekend away from my business. I only wished I had made plans to go to some place really nice. Instead I relaxed which was long overdue.

It’s now Monday morning and I have been in the office since 6:00am. I am going through our notes and the recording that I made. Later today, I will send you a revised and updated set of notes along with a implementation plan for HOCOA. Follow-up e-mail from Brian: "So... The postcards you did for me didn't exactly pull a 1% response rate as I expected!

When I sent out 698 postcards the first week I was anxious as to the response.   Well I got 298 responses to my postcard and was floored! If I am doing the math correctly that's over a 40% response to just the FIRST postcard. (Note: Actually, it's a 42.7% response, but who's counting? And I shudder to think what the number will be after the second and third mailings!)

Additionally, I have been approached by two of the biggest XXXX associations and have some meetings scheduled to see how we can work together. I was also asked to speak to a group of 200 fairly new XXXX about "how to grow your business" at the next XXXX conference in Chicago in November.

As you can imagine with this type of response I decided I needed to shift my focus and complete my product and get ready to launch a coaching program. All very exciting!

It was my day of COACHING with YOU that really got me thinking and moved me to the new opportoonity. I sort of looked in the mirror and decided that I never want to work in corporate America again...and I want to do something that I really enjoy. Craig, I want you to know that I really appreciate everything you have done for me! The best thing I ever did was to subscribe to your Seductive Selling newsletter and System and join your Mastermind Group.

I want to THANK you again..for getting me on track! If I hadn't been in Tampa and stumbled across your website and scheduled a day of consulting I certainly wouldn't be where I am at today. You gave me the permission to step out and do something totally different and I will never forget you!"

The first half of the day is "diagnostic" in nature.  It's kind like when you go to the doctor for the first time.  He's going to ask you things like, "What kinds of foods do you eat?"  "Do you exercise?  If so, what kind and how often?"  "How long have you been in pain?"  "When did it start?" "Are your parents alive? If so, how old are they?  If not, how old were they when they died, and how did it happen?"  Yadda, yadda, yadda, you know the drill.

Like your doctor, I'm going to run a bunch of diagnostic data through my brain, early on.  I want to see exactly what "condition" you're in right now.  What's working and what's not?  Who do you sell to and why?  How do they buy and what do they want?

You see where I'm going with this, right?

O.K., good, because the second half of the day is more "prescriptive" in nature.  During the second half of the day, I'm going to specifically identify your problems, and then "prescribe" LOADS of fixin's for them.  In some cases I'm going to give you the "antidote" to getting rid of whatever's plaguing your business, and in others I'm just going to give you a TON of remedies if you will, that will make you even STRONGER, HEALTHIER, and MUCH more successful.

What also happens more often than not, is... you suddenly have a renewed enthusiasm for your business, which you haven't felt in years.  You possess the same sense of conficence, energy and excietment you had when you first went into business, before the business began wearing you down, before all the headaches came.  The same sense of wonderment and anticipation you had, back when your world was filled with nothing but hopes, dreams, aspirations and goals for the future.

Why does this happen?  The answer is simple.  Because NOW... you actually have a concrete PLAN that can take you where you want to go. 

Let's face it, "hope" alone, is NEVER a good business strategy.  Neither is praying or wishing.  But having a proven "game plan" with a well-traveled road warrior as your guide, on the other hand, is a VERY reliable business strategy.

O.K. then, there's just one last thing, and here it goes:

Here Are The THREE Possible Outcomes You Can Expect From Your Consulting Day:

One.  You are going to get a CRAP LOAD of ideas.  If you wind up hiring me to work on any kind of copywriting projects related to these ideas, then I credit 100% of your consulting day investment, towards your copywriting project.  So in effect, you wound up having a FREE day of consulting.

Two.  You are STILL going to get a crap load of ideas, but for whatever reason -- either you're not ready, or it just doesn't make sense from my standpoint (for any number of reasons which I would disclose to you) -- I am NOT going to help create or conceive any kind of promotions for you.  In this case, you go off on your merry way, much much wiser, and presumably THRILLED you spent the time with me.

Three.  You're completely disappointed with the day we spent together, and in this case, I give you your check back, and again, you go on your merry way. This isn't likely, however what's MORE likely is that you are behaving like a 13 year old, and I voluntarily give you your check back because you and I were definitely NOT meant to be.

Listen, I've been working since I was 14 years old, and I may be a lot of things, but "bad" or "inefficient" at what I do, has NEVER been one of them, but... at least you have some comfort knowing your trip down here won't be wasted.
