Oh, and by-the-way, prior to this project, Brian (a former VP ofGlobal Marketing at Microsoft who worked side by side with Bill Gates) had been drowning in debt and had accepted the fact that he would probably have to abandon his dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Funny how sometimes fate changes for you in just the blink of an eye, isn't it?

  • A lead-generation piece I wrote for Chet Rowland, out of Odessa, Florida generated a 7.5% response when mailed out to a COLD list, in a completely "unresponsive" marketplace in an incredibly "ordinary" industry (pest control)!  In fact, we split-test no less than THREE different versions of mailers I wrote, and all three came within .7% of each other!

  • Mike Miget, a residential mortgage broker in St. Louis, came to me because he needed help!   His business is obviously HIGHLY competitive... he'd been studying direct-marketing for over 10 years... and he'd also worked wih a number of "gurus" already. But yet... nothing would make his business budge.  Using some VERY sneaky (but 100% legal and ethical) techniques, I created a piece for Mike that increased the number of leads he is now getting by OVER 50%, and... since these new leads are also far better QUALITY leads, his net profits are up WELL OVER 60%!  Mike's own loan officer coaching program generated in excess of $1 Million Dollars in NET CASH for him, using the strategies and marketing pieces I created, as the bedrock of his program.  

  • A client of mine who lives and works in a small town on the Washington state - Idaho border, was having financial trouble before he ran a yellow pages ad I wrote for him.  Now, since this ad is currently pulling an insane TWELVE-TO-ONE response rate -- during SLOW season -- he's not so worried anymore!  After three weeks, he had two things to say about this: "My wife can't BELIEVE I'm bringing checks like this to the bank -- she almost doesn't think it's REAL."  And... "If I run the ad in the next county over, I am going to put my competition out of business!"  (Brad Bowman - Palouse-Empire, Washington)

  • And... in 2003, after working with the legendary Gary Halbert for 6 months, here's what Halbert had to say: "When I met you, you were a '10'!  I can't imagine where you'll be in the future.  I think you have more natural talent for writing direct response copy than anyone else I've ever met. I've never said this to anyone else. You are GREAT and actually, I think you might be better than me. You are a f*c$ing genius at this." (08/07/2003)

And, in case you're wondering, I did NOT grow up with a "silver spoon" in my mouth. In fact, I had NO business training at all as a kid. My father was a toll collector and my mom opened up bank accounts at our local savings bank, near the apartment housing projects where I grew up in The Bronx. So it's not like this kind of information was ingrained in me or something.

On top of this, I failed and fell flat on my face many times before actually becoming successful.  Along the way, I've had my own share of personal and financial crisis', which I'll share with you in just a moment.  But... once success finally came my way, the money came in so fast and furious, that... as Napoleon Hill said in Think And Grow Rich, "You wondered where it was hiding all along!"
