Let me clarify one thing about what I said.

When you’re working out all these numbers, always be conservative. Never push the limit or go to excess on your computations.

When you do this, you give your prospect an excuse to bail out of your offer. They’ll think, “Oh, that’s not realistic. I won’t do that much.” Or, ‘I can’t imagine that happening.”

They don’t believe in themselves.

So always make your numbers conservative. If your offer looks good using conservative figures, then you’ve got a fighting chance and they have a reason to nibble. But if you’re shooting for the moon…

Well… let’s just say maybe you have to aim a little lower.
