How He Became...The 'King Of Copy'!”

In a nutshell, Craig Garber is one of the freshest and sharpest minds the world of direct marketing has seen in quite some time. He's been called “America's Top Direct-Response Copywriter and Direct-Marketing Consultant”, not only by his clients, but by many of his peers in the industry.  Craig's promotions work because of his uncanny "sixth sense" about things, and... because of his unique ability to get "under the hood" of what's truly motivating your prospects.

A true "maverick" at heart, it's a curious road Craig traveled to arrive at his present destination. Uncovering his past though, perhaps it's best if you begin with the age-old parable of "The Lion And The Gazelle," and it goes like this:

"Every morning on the hot dry plains of Africa, a lion gets up and knows she must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or she'll starve to death. When the gazelle gets up, he knows he'll have to run faster than the fastest lion, or else he'll be killed and eaten.

Craig Garber received a similar education in these same jungle survival skills, learning he'd better "get going" and hit the ground running... at an early age.  The fact is, Craig's been forced to climb to the top of the mountain, one step at-a-time... more times in his life than you'd probably ever imagine.

Raised literally on the mean streets of the Bronx (in New York City), Craig's early  experiences quickly honed his street-wise survival skills, forcing him to understand human nature and anticipate human behavior.  No doubt, though... by uncovering what really makes people "tick", ultimately... that's how he learned how to leverage human behavior... into... writing winning sales promotions!

And like most people who've achieved any kind of worthwhile success, he's found himself with one foot perilously hanging just over the brink of failure more than once!

But apparently, "bouncing back" is second nature to Craig.

After a successful career as a CPA (oddly enough) and then as a financial planner, Craig delved head-first into the world of direct response in March of 2000, first... by successfully rescuing his own financial planning practice from going down the tubes, and second... by getting a personal first-hand education from one of the living legends of the industry.

After seeing an almost immediate turnaround in his own business after applying what amounted to nothing less than an "M.B.A." in direct-marketing education, Craig had a chance encounter with Gary Halbert ("the world's greatest copywriter" and the father of modern-day copywriting), who... as luck would have it, lived only a hop, skip, and-a-jump down the road from Craig.

The two men formed a mutual respect for one another, and under Halbert's watchful eye, Craig blossomed into "The King Of Copy".

been written by 2 other men in the world"... Halbert himself, and
another living legend, Gary Bencivenga!

Ever since then, Garber's never looked back. He's been making his living as a direct-response copywriter and a direct-marketing consultant, without skipping a beat... writing one successful promotion after another, both for clients and on projects of his own.  Craig's successfully sold all sorts of personal goods and services... consumer products... books... business services, and "How To" business systems, just to name a few. 

No one's 100% sure where his "magic" comes from, but chances are, it's a combination of his winning and energetic charisma, tossed in with his zest for living life to the fullest, that translates just so incredibly into print... and his seemingly uncanny intuitive perception (that only someone with a 157 I.Q., and who's also "been around the block", could have)!

All I know is, he seems to uncover the hidden "inside" benefits of any product you're selling, describing them "BAM! BAM! BAM!", one-after-another... in plain and simple English.

Surrounded by his beautiful and supportive (and patient as a saint) wife, their 3 children, and a bevy of cats and dogs, Craig lives in his sprawling lake-side home just outside of Tampa, Florida. When he's not working, Craig's busy enjoying his family, fitness, bass fishing on his lake, music (he once played in New York City's Carnegie Hall), reading, coffee and good cigars.  Recently, Craig's been chomping at the bit to get back to his favorite place in the world, Hawaii... for a second honeymoon that's l-o-n-g overdue.
