She's... Too Sexy For Her Shirt
Dear Friend,
Here's an interesting observation: Something's wrong here. Last night we went to watch my son's swim meet and I saw something very disturbing.
Now appreciate I don't get out much -- and I'm not kidding when I say that. I leave the house every once-in-a-while to go out of town on business... I go to the gym... and maybe out to eat now and again. But for the most part, I'm sitting at my desk or out on the deck with a cigar, or on my lake bass-fishing. If that's boring, then so be it, but I've probably sowed enough oats for five lifetimes when I was younger, so I'm just fine with my mundane "boring" lifestyle for now.
So we go to this swim meet, and I see all the kids, and suddenly... it strikes me as odd that my 44 year-old wife, has a much better figure than at LEAST half -- or maybe even two-thirds of all the high school swimmers in the meet.
This is not how things should be. And although my wife has a nice figure, especially for someone "her age", this is more about how big our society is getting. I simply was astounded.
Think about all the different ways this is affecting our life.
For instance, did you know that hospitals all across the country are currently re-engineering their gurneys, beds and machines, to accomodate 500 pound people, instead of 300 pound people? That's a HUGE difference, isn't it? (There's a pun in there somewhere.)
And how about planes? Don't you think there's a problem if 300 people on the plane are now an average of let's say 30 pounds heavier. What impact does that extra 9,000 pounds per flight have?
More gas to consume in order to move a bigger object across the same distance as before... a HELL of a lot less room inside the plane -- especially if your sandwiched between two big folks... and more colds and germs traveling around, since overweight people also get sicker, more often.
And what about just plain feeling good about yourself? I'll tell you what -- I'm carrying a few extra pounds around myself now, and it makes me absolutely sick! You're a lot more confident about yourself when you're in at least half-way decent shape, that's for sure.
Right?
Anyhow, maybe this is old news, and I'm just finding it out because I don't get out that much, but... if this is what I discover each time I venture out into the big world around me, I might just have to get to know these fish on a first-name basis. Because if they're fat, it's perfectly... fine... with me.
If this pushed your emotional buttons a little bit, that's O.K. And if this message made you frustrated, or even a little angry, that's O.K. too. Because frankly, you ain't seen nothin yet. See, in chapters 19 and 23 of The Seductive Selling System - http://www.kingofcopy.com/seductive -- amongst many other things, I show you LOADS of different ways to push your prospect's emotional buy-buttons by using anger and frustration, to make a sale.
Understand -- I didn't say you're going to make your prospects angry and frustrated -- I said you're going to discover how to use "anger and frustration" to make a sale. And in case you forgot, THAT... is why you're in business.
Now go sell something,
