What Does This Man Know About Success, That You Don't?
Dear Friend,
You have less than 12 hours to take advantage of the early registration sign-up and save $250 dollars off your tuition to my Information Marketing Expo event, taking place in March, in sunny Orlando, Florida -- http://www.informationmarketingexpo.com
Here's why one man signed up, and if you want to know what he knows about this event that you don't, check this out, because he's speaking from experience here.
I recently received this message from business-owner Craig Eubanks, who's traveling cross-country from San Francisco to come and hang out with me and Neil Stafford (and you too?) for 3 days:
"Craig, I just wanted you to know why I registered for your conference in Orldndo:
I want a conference where I'm so engrossed in learning cool & useful stuff, that I don't find myself wishing I had Internet access so I could web surf while waiting for the speakers to stop selling and say something worthwhile that will help my business.
Here are the reasons why I think your Information Marketing Expo will be that conference...
1. Though I have enjoyed being at other well known marketing events, I felt a large portion of my time was wasted by non-stop 50 minute sales pitch talks. In some cases I felt like I was being talked down to rather than being taught anything useful.
At the last one, I learned more from a guy I just happened to sit next to than I did all the speakers combined. He turned me on to a bunch of resources that have been invaluable to us at Pickup101.com. He provided me with real world useful tools for direct marketing.
Otherwise, the only reason I felt I got value out of the last info marketing conference I went too, was because I made an effort to network with people there who I had heard/read about. Otherwise I don't think the cost equaled the benefits.
I like the idea of a conference with only 2 instructors, rather than a non-stop line up of guest marketers.
2. Though I expect you to do some selling of your services or a coaching program, from meeting you and reading your copy, my expectation is that this will be a learning experience and one where there can be conversations about how to solve real world marketing and business issues
3. You are a copy writer, AND you interned under one of the best, and the first thing you list as a topic of instruction is copy writing. I don't know that I'll ever get to meet Halbert, but I can learn from you as one of his top proteges.
I'm in John Carlton's "insider" program, so I'm learning from him, and your conference will be a way for me to learn the Halbert/Garber methods.
4. You are doing in your business EXACTLY what I want to do with my business. You are a great person for me to model and learn from.
5. This will be a smaller conference and thus will have more time to get to know everyone there and have time to talk with the instructors on the breaks.
6. I'm interested in the section on positioning yourself: Charging More, Working Less For It. I'm definately not doing that, and this situation needs to change in the first half of this year.
7. One of my goals this year is to establish myself as the 'expert' in a niche industry, and begin selling my own products, services, and later marketing conferences. You not only have a section on product development, but I'd like to model your marketing conference and perhaps even convince you to be one of the featured speakers when I have MY marketing conference.
8. Chet Rowland speaks very highly of you, and I know Chet doesn't screw around when it comes to business. I also know he doesn't praise too many people in the business world.
9. Let's face it: Forget about all the information I'm going to get, but the chance to win a FREE full, or a half-day of consulting with you or Neil, is worth the price of admission alone.
See you in Orlando!
Cheers, Craig"
Look, you too can change the entire course of your business, and forever change your life, but you can't do it by sitting there on your duff and reading this message alone. But you CAN do it by making a bigger effort than the next guy is doing, and then, 6 months from now you'll be the one looking back at one of the best decisions you ever made -- and that is, to attend the Information Marketing Expo.
Your competition, on the other hand, will still be doing the same old thing they're doing now -- nothing.
Remember, tuition goes up tonight at midnight, so get on this right NOW! http://www.informationmarketingexpo.com
Now go sell something,
Craig Garber
