Today, I'm going to take it easy.
I've got to try and unload the rest of the boxes... wires... and other small insignificant items cluttering up my office here in our new home.
I figured I'd post up a few photos of where we're living now, out in the country in the northern Tampa Bay area, so you can see why I'm so excited about our recent move.
Check 'em out here and then we'll start ripping apart that display ad first thing Monday morning.
Here are those photos:
This is literally EXACTLY the first thing I see when I open my eyes
in the morning. I took this photo right outside my bedroom.
I grew up in the projects in the Bronx -- I didn't drive until I was 22 years old and I never saw a golf course until I was 23.
I took my first plane flight when I was 22 -- I flew down to Orlando after I graduated college.
By-the-way, those pavers are white -- they look darker because of the morning dew that's covering them.
Every day, when I wake up, I feel like I'm in a vacation home we're renting and we'll have to go "back" in a few months.
Thank God that's simply not true!

These deck chairs face west, so each evening
we go outside and watch the sun set.
Last night, Anne and I were out there with the kids sitting on our lap.
It was so quiet, you could here the birds landing on the twigs in the trees.
As soon as we finish getting settled, we're going to get a bass boat so we can go fishing and skiing together.
When I was a kid, I used to play football in the middle of the street at night. It was cold and we were constantly getting interrupted by the cars passing by.
Although I learned a lot about life, I have a sneaking suspicion... my kids will remember skiing across the lake with their brothers and sister, with more excitement, and more feeling, than I have when I recall all the touchdowns and interceptions I made running up and down that busy New York City street.

Here's the south side of the lake.
I have a sneaking
suspicion the better fishing holes are down this way.
One thing's for sure -- I'll find out soon.
Have a great weekend, and I hope you enjoyed this little slice of serenity here in my world.
Now go sell something,
Craig Garber
