How To "Set Up" A Model For Success In Your Head!
Dear Friend,
First of all, I apologize, but I found out late, that a lot of people who were signed up for last night's teleseminar (which went great by the way), were not sent any kind of confirmation about what number to call.
I really am VERY sorry about that. I was not in control of this, and Mediabids (who was), apparently had some problems with their own e-mail servers. I have personally received phone calls at home from Jedd (the owner of Mediabids.com) and Kris, his top salesperson, profusely apologizing. These are VERY good people, and I know they are sincere about what happened.
I am trying to get the recording of the teleseminar and if I can do this, I will post it here on kingofcopy.com, along with the handout. If I can NOT get the recording, I will run another teleseminar in the near future. I promise.
Here's something to think about as you head into the weekend: Nearly all rich and powerful people are not particularly good-looking... polished... or well-educated even. They got to this position because they possessed THREE things:
One, they generally have very good people skills. I'll take someone who's a worker with a good attitude over the person whose OVER qualified on paper, but who's lacking people skills, any day. Remember, it's your personality and your attitude that gets you somewhere (or not) in this world, NOT your diploma. People do business with PEOPLE, not with companies.
Sure, there are a few a-holes around who "make it", but for the most part, these people are few and far between. They're the exception and NOT the rule. Nearly all the wealthiest and successful people I've met are basically "good" people.
Two, they generally had a VISION about where they wanted to go, and they BELIEVED in themself enough to get them there. It is said that Vision without Action is a dream... but Action without Vision, becomes a nightmare. When I was younger, I'll be the first to admit, I didn't have much vision. I often took action without thinking about what I was doing, and without considering any of the consequences. Bluntly, that's why I got married to my ex-wife -- I had no forethought. I was on "autopilot" like a lot of people out there.
If you want to get to the top though, only rely on your "autopilot" setting when you're sleeping.
Lastly, they dedicated themselves to ONE skill in particular. As a business-owner, if the skill you're NOT dedicating yourself to becoming an expert in, isn't "marketing", then you REALLY are missing the boat. Being the best plumber... or the sharpest accountant... or the fastest repairman, isn't worth John T. Crap, unless people know about you. And for the most part, it really isn't worth anything unless a LOT of people know about you.
Investing in your MARKETING education, will be the best investment you make in your life.
Make sense?
Oh, one more thing, and it's important: if you haven't yet subscribed to Seductive Selling - http://www.SeductiveSelling.com - then here's what you're missing:
"Craig, This is Dwight, got my newsletter in my office and sunck away to read every word. I must admit that I learned more in that newsletter than I have in alot of my other reading. One of the most important reinforcements was the don't work for free, completely appropriate and something I will remember always. The most impressive article for me had nothing but everything to do with copywriting and that was the back page. That article hits home with me setting up a model for success in my head that's not realistic -- always trying to hit a home run. Thanks for that, that was the most important article for me in the newsletter. This document will help me write and think better and I will be happy to continue to subscribe and look forward to the coaching. Thanks again, Dwight Miller - Marlton, NJ"
