Jesus On Tap

Dear Friend,

When I was working directly for Gary Halbert, there were many flashes of brilliance I was able to pick up on.

One of the things he told me was, if you want to find a sure winner, take something that's already working well, and then give it a turbo-charge marketing-wise and you'll have a HUGE success.

In other words, apply good marketing to a product that's already selling with average marketing and it's like taking a horse that's always coming in second and third and making it into a first-place trophy winner, every time.

Here's the ultimate "swipe" and improvement of public domain material, if I ever saw one.

The "100-Minute Press" located in Kent, England, has just released the "100-Minute Bible".

That's like the Bible's super Cliff Notes on steroids.

Now there have been some modifications, like changing "Jesus wept" to Jesus was "deeply moved"... but there again, that still probably conveys more depth than the SMS Bible out of Australia that says "In da Bginnin God cre8d da heavns & da earth".

Which Australian wrote that, Guido Hatzis?  I'd love to know.

So this 100 Minute Bible, has in the last 30 days alone, sold 40,000 copies, for better or worse.  And yes the publisher is getting a lot of flack, but who cares, at £3 Pounds a pop, these guys are lauging all the way to the bank.

Hey, even if their expenses were SUPER insane and they only made £60,000 Pounds last month (which is like, over $100,000 Dollars), I'm sure they can live with all the controversy they've created.

This is a GREAT example of jumping on an already "hot" seller, and just putting a marketing twist on it so a different marketplace jumps in head-first.

What's the next biblical spinoff?

The Jesus playing card game -- don't draw the wrong card or else all your good deeds get wiped out (but for $19.95, they'll sell you a "Good Deed Restoration Kit," of course)?

Bowling for biblical fans -- bowl a perfect game and you get to hook up with the pope in a limited-seating eye-opening telephone coaching program?

Or how about this: a mastermind meeting between all the creators of all the successful spin-offs of the bible?

If you've got a good idea, let me know about it and I'll reveal it in my FREE teleseminar this Wednesday night at 8PM, eastern standard (Florida) time.  It's called "How To Eliminate ALL Your Marketing Headaches!" and if you foolishly haven't registered yet, go take care of this problem and register right NOW -- there are only 10 slots left!  http://www.kingofcopy.com/fts/11_09_05/
