Extreme M & M's
Dear Friend,
A couple of months ago, Mars started rolling out a $10 Million Dollar marketing project to promote their newest product, called "Mega M & M's".
Mega M & M's are just a super-sized versions of their regular M & M's, and in this health-conscious day-and-age of ours, you can rest assured that the controversy of this product alone, will be enough to get it a ton of publicity, and noticed by all the health gurus as being "bad" for you.
Mars will thrive on all this attention of course, both "emotionally" and financially, and I wonder just how long it'll be before other well-known brands start doing the same thing with their products.
After all, I'm sure the "Wild Whopper" will be a very attractive upgrade for fans of Burger King's "traditional" Whopper, and who knows -- can the McPorker be just around the corner as well?
Now using this model, what's going on in your business that you can offer a "bigger" upgrade to?
If you're a landscaper, can't you offer an "Elite Green Thumb" service for your customers who want continuous service related to new flowers and plantings... 48-hour "emergency response" service... quarterly tree-trimming and more?
Start thinking about the upgrade-ability of your business and how you can help your customers or clients more, and then develop a high-end program that caters to this segment of your marketplace -- the most loyal and important segment of it, by the way.
Now go sell something,
Craig Garber
